12+ years inside the juvenile justice system

Built for parents, not professionals

No fearbait. No teen shaming.

WHAT PARENTS ARE UP AGAINST

Online danger rarely begins looking dangerous.

It may begin with attention, a joke, a new online friend, a private request, or a conversation that moves too fast. The first visible clue is often a change in your child, not a warning on the screen.

01A message
02A compliment
03A private request
04Pressure
05Silence

The goal is not to monitor every second. It is to build enough awareness and trust that your child does not feel forced to handle a frightening situation alone.

Notice, Ask, and Act method included in the Before They Tell You online safety kit

Know what kind of moment you are looking at.

01

Notice

WHY YOUTHPIVOT BUILT THIS

Field-informed. Parent-centered.

Ron Million has spent more than 12 years working inside the juvenile justice system with youth and families, including high-risk cases involving online pressure and sexual behavior concerns. YouthPivot turns that front-line perspective into practical language parents can use without fear-based hype or shame.

QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BUY

Clear answers. No hidden surprises.

Is this only for families already dealing with an online crisis?

No. The kit is designed for prevention, early warning, and response. You can use the conversation cards before any problem appears, then use the Signal Map and response tools if something concerning happens.

What age is it designed for?

The language and scenarios are designed primarily for parents and caregivers of preteens and teens, approximately ages 11 to 17. You can adjust the wording to your child's maturity and online access.

Do I need to print everything?

No. The purchase includes a 55-screen phone edition. The printable card deck is included for families who prefer a physical tool.

How will I receive the files?

Etsy provides access to four PDF files after checkout. This is a digital product; no physical item will be shipped.

Is this therapy, legal advice, or emergency support?

No. This is an educational parent resource. It does not replace legal, medical, clinical, investigative, or emergency advice. Call 911 for immediate danger; in the United States, call or text 988 for crisis support.

BEFORE THE NEXT HARD MOMENT

Give your family a safer way to talk about life online.
